Etsy Gems

Beautiful Pink Parasol from Etsy seller @Bella Aisle Runner
Love these vintage labels for the bride and grooms seating. From Etsy Seller @Wedology

Love the idea of not only being able to use this idea as a unique wedding ring holder, but you can give it to the ring bearer to use as a Christmas ornament. Great bonus use. Found this from Etsy Seller Alisa Mayde

Etsy- Statement Jewelry

Etsy is a great place to find a diamond in the rough. With a few clicks of the mouse you'd be surprised at what you will find. I love the idea of a bride using jewelry pieces that are unique and sometimes one of a kind.  After doing some digging I found four necklaces from Dream Day Design that I am in love with.

I had chance to meet with Melissa from the The Sparky Noodle Bakery Located in Troy Michigan. Melissa works her magic in creating some fabulous and tasty cake flavors . Each of her cake flavors are very distinct in addition they paired well with each of my selected filling and frosting that I had a chance to sample.
Coconut Swiss Meringue

The Lemon Curd had a nice smooth kick, tart and mildly sweet, so did the Strawberry Rhubarb & Jam, but I especially loved the light peanut butter flavor of the “Peanut Butter Swiss Meringue”.  Peanut butter is one of my new favorite flavors and I would highly recommend it. In addition to being lightly flavored, it’s very smooth and can be paired with a variety of cake flavors. The Peanut Butter Swiss reminded me of why peanut butter is a kids fave. This is the grown up version, it’s that savory. I  loved how it complimented the banana cake  but I especially loved the way it paired with the chocolate mint. It was simply delicious.

In addition to her fabulous wedding cakes, Melissa also creates a variety of pies, including mini pies, pies on a stick and pies in a jar. She also specializes in cookies, cookie cakes and cookie truffles.

Ten Ways To Plan A Luxurios And Affordable Wedding

Weddings can be super expensive, but you do not have to break the bank to have a fabulous event. Here is a list of ten things that you can do which should help in planing a luxurious yet affordable event.

  • Talk Often. The more you and your fiancĂ© talk and come to an agreement about money, the better.

  • Reward yourself for coming in under budget with small, affordable budget.

  • Avoid impulse purchases

  • Put the money for wedding expenses in its own account

  • Request overdraft protection on the wedding account

  • Use a low interest credit card that offers frequent fliers miles for each wedding purchase made

  • Look for ways to save by doing certain jobs yourself instead of assigning others

  • Comparison shop

  • Consider free credit counseling services if necessary
