Shades of Green

Green has long been a symbol of fertility and was once the preferred color choice for wedding gowns in the 15th-century. It symbolizes nature and the natural world and denotes balance, harmony, and stability. It is usually used for decorating because of its calming effect; it also signifies growth, renewal, health, and environment.

Green comes in various shades which include aquamarine, emerald, chartreuse, jade, lime, mint, olive and the list goes on.As it relates to culture, the Jade stones represent virtue and beauty in China, while in Japan the color green is regarded as the color of eternal life.

For a wedding you can combine several shades or green using light and dark shades that will compliment and contrast with each other.
